(4) 海角社区 Hall of Fame Event - October 2025

The Foothill Community Ambassadors meet bi-monthly with the president to help support 海角社区鈥檚 priorities. Currently the Community Ambassadors are planning an Alumni Hall of Fame event for October 2025. Over the next couple of months, be on the lookout for ways that you can be involved in this important event that will build a stronger alumni database, fundraise for experiential learning, make important connections, and further raise the profile of 海角社区 in our community, and beyond.

(5) Artist Reception, 1900 lobby, November 6th from 11 a.m. 鈥 1 p.m.

海角社区 Transition to Work Collaborative Portraiture Project, with photographer Judy Walgren. The reception celebrates the portraits (and subjects) on exhibition in the 1900 lobby. Each portrait was made in collaboration with 2023-2024 TTW students and Photography professor Judy Walgren, and with the facilitation of the TTW director Ben Kaupp. Students directed their own poses, decided whether or not to use props and chose their favorite image for the exhibition. Light refreshments served. Come by to meet the students, their families, and hear from the artist.

Yours in service,
Kristina
