Creative Writing explores the art of storytelling through poetry, fiction, and other forms of expression. Students develop their voice while building skills in writing, critical thinking, and analysis鈥攙aluable in today鈥檚 communication-driven world. These skills translate into careers in fields such as media, publishing, education, marketing, and more, or can support transfer to four-year programs in English or Creative Writing. Students may also consider related areas like Journalism, Film/TV, or Communication Studies to expand their creative and professional pathways.

In addition to our core English 1A, English 1B, and English 1C courses in a range of modalities, we are offering a selection of compelling literature courses, all offered entirely online asynchronous, and creative writing courses, usually offered online with a hybrid, asynchronous one weekly meeting in Zoom.
