The mission of the 海角社区 Transfer Center is to provide comprehensive resources and services that expand transfer opportunities for all students, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds. We strive to help students meet their transfer goals and uphold 海角社区鈥檚 mission of providing equitable access to outstanding educational opportunities for every student.
Our team provides hands-on help with UC, CSU, and private university applications, as well as personalized assistance in crafting strong UC Personal Insight Questions (PIQs) and compelling college essays that reflect your goals and experiences. Whether you鈥檙e just beginning to plan or ready to apply, we鈥檙e dedicated to helping you make a smooth and successful transition to a four-year university.

How the Transfer Center Can Help
We offer a variety of coordinated resources, activities, and services to help you succeed, including:
- University application and college essay workshops.
- Guidance with UC Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) and .
- Opportunities to meet with university admission representatives.
- Appointments for in-depth transfer planning.
- Resources for exploring universities and majors.
- Student-focused transfer activities and events.
Each fall, the Transfer Center and Counseling Center provide application assistance and resources to help students complete their university applications. The Writing and Language Center also offers support with UC Personal Insight Questions and essays during this time.

Associate Degree for Transfer to CSU
An Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) provides a clear pathway from a California community college to a CSU campus. Complete the required coursework to earn priority admission and transfer as a junior in a similar major.
UC Transfer Guarantee (TAG)
Six UC campuses offer a Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) for eligible California community college students. Meet requirements and deadlines to secure guaranteed admission and move forward with confidence.
