Join Our Honors Community
Why Take Honors Institute Courses?
With Foothill honors courses, you'll dive deeper into the course material within a community of like-minded scholars who are interested and curious about deep learning.
Our honors courses provide a rigorous and stimulating learning environment, one in which highly motivated students will have the opportunity to develop in-depth research skills, join special focus seminars, and develop close relationships with Honors professors.
Honors Institute courses at 海角社区 are open access. You do not need to submit a special application to register for an honors class. You don鈥檛 have to be a high school Honors/AP student to join our Honors program. You just need to have a desire to learn and a willingness to develop the time management skills and discipline to perform at a high level.
The Honors courses can take the place of the traditional course. For example, instead of taking ENGL C1000, you could take ENGL C100H to fulfill the same Written Communication requirement. You don鈥檛 have to take 鈥渆xtra鈥 classes to join the Honors Institute.
