Steps to Petition for Your Degree
- Prior to petition for graduation, all official transcripts (sealed by the issuing institution and unopened) must be on file in Admissions & Records or attached to the Petition for Graduation.
- One quarter prior to your estimated graduation date, meet with a counselor to go over the degree requirements and submit the Petition for Graduation.
- Schedule a counseling appointment.

Claim Your Digital Diploma
Starting with Spring 2022 graduates, . This makes it easy to share your accomplishments with family, friends and potential employers.
- Upon completion of your degree, you will receive an email to electronically 鈥楥laim鈥� your diploma.
- You can log in to your Parchment account at any time to share your diploma again and again.
- You will then have permanent online access to your digital diploma.
Probation FAQs
Log into MyPortal and click on the 鈥淩egistration鈥� tab. Click 鈥淰iew Holds鈥� in 鈥淩egistration
Tools鈥� box on left.
If you are a current student who was recently placed on probation after last quarter, you will receive an e-mail with specific instructions on which probation activity to complete and steps to get started.
If you are returning to Foothill and need to clear your probation hold, email us with your name and CWID. We will help you with the next steps. fhprobation@fhda.edu.
If you are on probation at 海角社区, you need to first complete our probation
activity so we can clear the hold in MyPortal for you.
Yes, the information will be a good refresher and is the only way to clear the hold.
If you have an active probation hold on your student account, you cannot use the registration
system nor see you unofficial transcripts in your student registration app in MyPortal.
Once you successfully complete the probation activity and you hold is cleared, you
may resume using these functions in the app.
