Access, Support & Inclusive Learning
We are committed to creating a safe, equitable, and supportive environment for students with disabilities.
Welcome to the Disability Support Programs & Services (formerly DRC)! Where we are committed to promoting access for all students with disabilities. At 海角社区, accessibility is a core commitment, and the DSPS ensures every student has the tools, support, and opportunities needed to succeed in college. We welcome students with any disability, visible or invisible, and provide personalized accommodations, dedicated counseling, and a wide range of assistive technologies to support your academic journey.
Our team of professionals is here to support you, whether they need accommodations for exams, assistance with note-taking, or access to assistive technology. We also work closely with faculty and staff to create an inclusive and accessible campus environment, providing training and consultation on disability-related issues, and working with departments to ensure that all aspects of campus life are accessible to everyone.
We are committed to creating a safe, equitable, and supportive environment for students with disabilities, creating a campus climate in which diverse learners are respected, prioritizing universal design, and providing academic counseling, assistive technology, coaching, and educational support to meet the unique needs of our students.
Remember to Submit Your Accommodations! Please remember to submit your accommodation letters to your instructors through Clockwork in MyPortal. This step is essential鈥攊t notifies your instructors of your approved accommodations and ensures they can put the necessary supports in place as early as possible. Submitting your letters each quarter helps you receive timely access to the resources you need to succeed. |
Do you have a disability or need support to access your education fully?
Many different conditions can affect how you learn or participate in class. DSPS counselors can help you explore which accommodations may support your needs and improve your experience at Foothill. Whether your disability is permanent, temporary, visible, or invisible, the DSPS is here to ensure you have equitable access to your education. If you have an IEP, 504 plan, RTI, or DOR counselor, or you had one at any prior time, please make sure to fill out an application.
Are you a De Anza student taking classes at Foothill? If you're currently attending De Anza and plan to take classes at Foothill, is the first step to starting your services with the Foothill DSPS. Submitting the form allows our team to review your needs, connect you with a counselor, and ensure your accommodations are in place before the quarter begins. |
