We are seeking Field Placement Mentors to provide direct field work for our talented and enthusiastic students.
About You
Do you work in a Social Work or Human Services related community organization, agency, or institution? Are you passionate about working with college students and helping them build a successful career in Social Work or Human Services related fields?
We need your help!
We are seeking your help to supervise/mentor students' field experience - allowing our students to apply knowledge and learn new skills outside of the classroom environment - all while supporting your organization!
What it looks like
Supervised fieldwork to a Foothill Social Work student entails observing, practicing,
and developing their skills at your agency for 3 hours per week during the Spring term (12 weeks, April trough June).
At the end, you will complete a survey of the student鈥檚 competencies after the supervisory/mentorship period.
