About the LRC Tutoring for STEM program

Welcome to the 海角社区 Learning Resource Center (LRC) Tutoring for STEM program. 
 

In-Person Tutoring now in 3600

All in-person STEM and Writing and Language tutoring services will be held in the 3600 building 鈥� with the exception of some extended in-person STEM tutoring services held in the Foundations Lab (room 4201) and extended Writing and Language services in the Linguistic Justice Lab (6409).

Hours subject to quarterly availability.  for most current hours. 
 
We offer drop-in tutoring both onsite and online (via ZOOM), during the regular academic year (Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters). Our tutors are scheduled throughout the day to help you one-on-one.  Don't be stuck or fall behind. Take advantage of this wonderful free service 海角社区 makes available to all students. We hope to see you soon!

Registered Students, Faculty & Staff 鈥� Access the Latest Tutoring Schedule

Registered students, faculty, and staff can view LRC Tutoring services and the latest schedule through Canvas in one of the following ways:

Option 1

  1. Open the Student Support Portal in .

  2. Click 鈥淢ore Info鈥� on the Tutoring tile.

Option 2

  1. Open your Canvas course in.

  2. Click the 鈥淔oothill Tutoring鈥� menu option.

Online Tutoring Service

We use Zoom to pair you with a tutor. You'll need a quiet space and a computer with a microphone to participate.

We offer tutoring for the following STEM subjects:

  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Computer Science
  • Math
  • Physics
  • Other subjects also offered, depending on the quarter. 

All tutoring services are free in our Learning Resource Center (LRC).
