Share Your News with the Foothill Community

The Marketing & Public Relations Department manages two weekly newsletters that keep our campus informed and connected:

  • Student鈥檚 Message 鈥� for currently enrolled students: Sent every Monday, this email highlights student opportunities, upcoming events, resources, workshops, and important deadlines.

  • Parliament 鈥� for faculty and staff: Sent every Thursday or Friday, this newsletter shares campus news, events, and college initiatives, including opportunities employees can share with students.

Marketing also coordinates promotion through Foothill鈥檚 social media accounts and Dynasign campus screens.

How to Submit an Announcement

Events: To promote an event in Student鈥檚 Message or Parliament, submit it to the events calendar.

Other announcements: For news, resources, deadlines, and other updates, submit a under the Announcements category.

Email Announcement  (Student鈥檚 Message / Parliament) 600 x 600 px @ 72 dpi JPG* No text, logos, or QR codes.
Social Media Post 1080 脳 1080 px @ 72 dpi JPG*

Works best for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Include: logo, QR code & URL.
Dynasign Digital Screens  1300 脳 800 px @ 150 dpi JPG* Include: logo, HM title, date, and QR code or URL.
Event Image 600 脳 600 px @ 72 dpi JPG* No text, logos, or QR codes.

* File Naming Convention: Please use all lowercase with underscores.
